The Capital Theater in SLC. Sam and I saw
"WICKED" It was fabulous, we enjoyed it
so much. Now we want to go see something
else, we had so much fun doing this.
A lady sitting next to us took our picture

Morgan the day we moved her out of her
BYU dorm room. (We won't show you what it
looked like on the other side of this door!)

This is her name tag on her door, made by her
roommate, Lauren.

More Thanksgiving Point Gardens

It was a special treat to see a pair of Canadian Geese
with some little ones. They caught everyones attention.

I could have spent the entire day walking the paths
and looking at the flowers. Sam walked with me
most of the time, bless his heart. It was lots of
walking, but Oh, so beautiful!!

A statue of a girl about to step into the water.

More trees in bloom.

The flower beds were so colorful and well cared
for. I need a gardener to take care of our yard.

Thanksgiving Point Gardens, Tulip Festival

A cute little guy kept coming up to Sam while we
were in the 'Secret Garden' and Sam picked him up and I took this picture. His name was
Damion (sp?) and his Russian Grandmother was with him, visiting the gardens.

This picture and all the tulips was taken in 'The
Secret Garden.

On one of the paths looking back up the hill to the Visitor's Center.
This was the first time we had been to these gardens @ Thanksgiving
Point. We got up one morning and just decided to take the morning
and go up. We had a couple of free admissions (compliments of Sam
and Jen) that we had to use. It was a prefect day and it was so
gorgeous. We enjoyed it and were so glad we went.

Not only tulips and daffodils, but flowering trees
as well.

The sign going into the gardens.

Presenting the 'Flag' to Pat. It was a very touching
ceremony, in spite of the cold wind coming out of the
canyon. Gus and Lulie are buried in the Orem City
Cemetery.

The color guard at the funeral. Gus was in the
Navy.

Sam and I at the funeral for Gus, itwas a
very cold day.

Sam and Gus taken at Lulie's funeral. A favorite
picture of the two brothers.

Morgan took us to lunch on campus, for my
birthday and it was a fairly nice day.

Then we had 'winter' again and this is what
it looked like the next couple of days. We
were beginning to wonder if it would ever end.

It was nice enough that I had gotten some of my
garden things out and this is what my barrel
birdhouse looked like one morning.

The four of us about to have dinner. Sam and I
and Ken Goodman and his wife. We had a great
time.

Three pictures from the Ex-Mex Reunion in April,
before General Conference. Sam and one of his
favorite companions (Ken Goodman) Ken hasn't attended
a reunion for many years and Sam always wondered where
he was. Sam was so excited to see him and we found out
what all they have been doing and where they have been.
This bottom picture is of Juan Pelaez, a youngster in one
of the Branches while Sam was on his mission in Mexico.
He now lives in the SLC. His sister lives in Orem and she
also came to the reunion.
